How To Deal With Spirit Husband And Spirit Wife
Marriage is a covenant. The moment a man and a woman wedded they entered into a covenant. Let us apply this to spirit husband and spirit wife. Let’s us assume this spirit husband or spirit wife claiming that you belong to him or her is true, he or she has a right; maybe before you were born you were dedicated to such spirits, probably by your unsuspecting parents who may not have known the effect of their actions when they did it. The reason the spirit husband or wife is holding you captive is because a covenant binds both of you together.
“Certainly you will understand what I am about to say, my friends, because all of you know about law. The law rules over people only as long as they live. A married woman, for example, is bound by the law to her husband as long as he lives; but if he dies, then she is free from the law that bound her to him. So then, if she lives with another man while her husband is alive, she will be called an adulteress; but if her husband dies, she is legally a free woman and does not commit adultery if she marries another man. That is how it is with you, my friends. As far as the Law is concerned, you also have died because you are part of the body of Christ; and now you belong to him who was raised from death in order that we might be useful in the service of God.” Romans 7:1-4 (Good News Bible)
“In the same way, my brothers and sisters, your old selves died, and you became free from the law through the body of Christ. This happened so that you might belong to someone else — the One who was raised from the dead — and so that we might be used in service to God.” Romans 7:4 (New Century Version)
The claim of this man or this woman is binding as long as you are alive. The truth is the day you die that is the day you will be free of this covenant. This is the exact thing that happened the day you embraced the cross. Friends, you died! And that automatically frees you from such covenant of marriage to any spirit being. The death of Christ on the cross is also your death, so this spirit being does not have any legal right to disturb your life or destroy your marriage. They know they don’t have it if you will tell them, but most times they take advantage of our ignorance by lying to us. Even if after reading this the dreams still occur, just praise God and rehearse it in the ear of the devil and his demons that the cross of Jesus has made you free. You will be surprised that it will just fizzle out. That was the experience of this lady I spoke about earlier on. The dreams just ceased after realising who she is in Christ.
This is the truth, it has the capacity to set free, if you believe it. It looks so simple because it is of Grace not of work. It does not have to be complex to be true. The gospel is simple yet that is the power of God unto salvation.
Be Warned

“That the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.” Romans 8:4 (New King James Version)
You cannot afford to live a careless life because you are now a new creature. The condition of this freedom is for you to keep living for Christ- who is now your life. Remember you don’t have a life anymore. You lost that life the day you embraced Jesus Christ. The life you are living now, is not yours but Christ’s. That is why you can’t live out your will or do anything you like. You cannot afford to walk in the flesh because once you do you are exposing your life to the assault of the devil.
You will recall as long as the children stay within the boundary that God set for them, Balaam couldn’t curse them. But the moment they began to walk in disobedience, that opened the door for their destruction (Numbers 25).
When we teach that Christians can suffer from generational curse and that knowing Jesus is not just enough until they come for special deliverance meeting, we are simply acting like Balaam who taught Balak how to lure the children of Israel into sin
“But there are a few things I have against you: there are some among you who follow the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak how to lead the people of Israel into sin by persuading them to eat food that had been offered to idols and to practice sexual immorality.” Revelation 2:14 (Good News Bible)
I guess you don’t know this; when you teach false doctrine like generational curse, you are indirectly bringing the people of God back into bondage and in that way cutting them off from the grace of our Lord Jesus to trust in themselves. This is how bad such doctrince is. I have noticed that such people don’t stop coming from deliverance so they become a slave instead of enjoying the benefit of Calvary.
“Christ has set us free to live a free life. So take your stand! Never again let anyone put a harness of slavery on you. I am emphatic about this. The moment any one of you submits to circumcision or any other rule-keeping system, at that same moment Christ’s hard-won gift of freedom is squandered. I repeat my warning: The person who accepts the ways of circumcision trades all the advantages of the free life in Christ for the obligations of the slave life of the law. I suspect you would never intend this, but this is what happens. When you attempt to live by your own religious plans and projects, you are cut off from Christ, you fall out of grace.” Gal 5:1-4 (MSG)
You must stand in the liberty that you have in Christ Jesus, don’t walk in the flesh because that is not where you belong but walk in the Spirit. As long as you do this, you are sure you are under the protective hedge of God. Never give place to the devil and keep living in submission to the word of God.
I urge you today to walk in the liberty which Christ has made you free and don’t become entangled again to the yoke of bondage of false teaching. May the Lord give you peace and understanding in Jesus’ name. Amen.
